iOS Standby is Pretty Cool

I found a phone stand lying around the other day and I decided to try it out. It’s nothing special but I then placed my iPhone horizontally and I got this pretty clock UI.

On top of two stacked laptops sits an iPhone resting on a stand horizontally with the time 22:04 in bubbly blue letters

Turns out it’s an iOS 17+ feature called StandBy. It lets you pick from many clockfaces, but I picked the bubbly one. I wish it was always-on but that’s only availible on the Pro iPhones 14 and above. If you shake the table or tap the screen, it does light up though.
