Maven is a Really Cool Former Wrestler With Lots To Share

Maven Huffman was a wrestler for the WWE between 2001–2005 after winning the reality show Tough Enough. Though he was a midcarder (wrestling in the middle of a pay-per-view where you are good enough to screen but not enough for a prime match), he made a decent living. Unfortunately, he got fired and moved to presenting on TV where his painkiller addiction from all the wrestling caught up to him and he got arrested, costing him his job. About a decade later he took up YouTube and I’m glad he did because he’s really good at it.
He’s good for 2 reasons:
- He’s really good at presenting. I mean, he was on the Home Shopping Network where hosts literally have to convince people to buy stuff. Also, there’s no clickbait and waiting forever to get to the point—it’s straight facts.
- He goes into how the industry works. He covers things like pay, backstage life and actually wrestling.
I’m impressed at how he’s allowed to share so much but I really appreciate him doing so.
