Why I Hate Nonsense Brands

The biggest reason as to why I nonsense brand products or worse brandless products is that I can’t look them up. This is by design since having a distinct brand makes it easy to point you out and say “don’t buy this” or “it looks like this other, much cheaper thing from Ali Express”.
This lack of searchability is particularly annoying when it comes to getting technical information. At work we got a CCTV and it has absolutley no brand so I can’t find a way to remotley get videos as the only interface availible is either RTSP or using an ActiveX website! Literally it’s the only time I’ve had to use Internet Explorer (which is now integrated into Chromium Edge).
