The Biggest Reason As To Why I Want USB C on iPhones

Rumor is that Apple will bring USB C to the iPhone, replacing the Lightning port it has used for the past 10 years. It even used Lightning to transfer massive ProRes videos at USB 2.0 speeds for their “Pro” iPhones! While they might do it in the most Apple way possible by enforcing MFI on USB C, there’s one reason as to why I’m happy with this despite a default USB 2.0 transfer speed.

I can finally plug my flash drive directly into my iPhone to transfer files instead of setting up a Rube Goldberg machine whenever I want to transfer a file from my phone to my PC and visa versa, just like my iPad.
