His channel, LockPickingLawyer, really makes you lose faith in every lock you find as we rely on them to keep us safe.

One great thing about tech is how open we are to improvements and sharing how we work. This has helped the field move faster and improve. Locksmiths will benefit from a similar approach because as it’s just so bad.

It was interesting how he made lock security something worth caring about by getting to the point and trying to tell a story. Humans love stories. The most interesting take away was on how we should look less at what something is designed to do and look at what it can do. This applies beyond locks (and security) and can help us make better things.
