The way things are, investing is the only way to secure wealth in retirement, whether it’s through pensions or tax-advantaged accounts. Think is, the best performing funds are probably uninterested in ethics, leading of them having investments in unsavory industries. Heck, Hobby Lobby retirement plans include investments in companies that in abortion drugs, despite fighting against funding them (and contraception).

Something about there not being ethical consumption under capitalism (though I’m sure there is).
