I made this list privatley, but I’ve decided to share it publicly for some reason. Maybe you’ll buy something for me?

Tech

  • iPhone 15 Pro $1,500. Hope it has great battery life and a fast USB C connection so I can use a flash drive. What’s the point of ProRes if you can only transfer it at a snails pace. Hope to use it for at least 5 years or until it isn’t updated anymore.
  • iPad Pro with M series Chip—though my current iPad 11" 2nd Gen works extremley well despite the annoying issues, I’ll eventually need to upgrade. The M1 is just
  • Apple Watch 7/8. Want a watch and something to track fitness and sleep. I heard it’s pretty accurate. Would say ultra but I don’t imagine making that money.
  • Android e-Reader $300 max. Boox seems to the only ones who do this. Main reason is for RSS on iPad and something dumb I can read to bed.
  • Pixel 6a. Just need a stock Android phone. Apparently it’s $200 refurb which is perfect.
  • CarPlay Unit w/ dashcams. I don’t trust drivers here.
  • Boox e-Ink Reader (or any Android e-ink tablet). I want a dedicated reader tablet for books so I don’t get distracted.
  • MacBook. I really like the Apple ecosystem, I just don’t know what kind of Macbook to get. The M1 Air is perfectly fine, but the M2 is sexy though marginally better than the M1. The pros ar ejust much better as well.
  • some sort of dongle
  • some kind of monitor with a built in hub, thunderbolt and high quality
  • next or rooster stand
  • keychron keyboard
  • MX Master 3 (or later if it’s there)
  • Backup media
  • cool chargets (magsafe duo for travel)
  • Airtags to find stuff (they now have )

Sound

  • AirPods Pro/Beats Fit Pro. The beats look great but the AirPods have great features. Not sure what to pick.
  • Sony XM5s Supposedly the best noise cancelling headphones but I’m looking for something wireless, long battery, USB C and 3.5mm and multipoint.
