A great video which goes into why react streamers are so horrible. In short, they can “react” to far more content than the original creators make, taking all the views and revenue with them.
This was a big issue years ago [VIDEO ~11:00] and it’s sad to see that it’s only gotten worse as the channels are much much bigger yet all they do is eat food and watch a video play and earn millions doing so (even the “anti capitalist” ones).
Honestly, I think this warrants DMCA or even a lawsuit as there’s no way this qualifies for fair use as they replace the market if the original. Also, there’s no way this could be seen as transformational.
These days, I’ve become increasingly annoyed with people who benefit disproportionately to the effort they put in. React streamers are no different.
