Caleb Hammer Shouts At You Until You Get Your Financial Shit Straight

I recently came across Caleb Hammer, a 28 year old who hosts a talk show where he invites guests who have financial troubles. It usually involves the guest introducing themselves and their situation and what they think of it. After that, it devolves into Caleb ripping the guest a new one over wasting a lot of money on food and charging it to the very credit cards they’re trying to pay off. The thing that really sets him off is how guests don’t have an emergency fund, end the month with a lower checking balance and just how much money they’re throwing away to interest and late fees.

A lot of guests get defensing, justifying it by saying that they don’t have time or they’re young and can make mistakes which Caleb doesn’t buy. He does speak agressivley, but he is understanding—especially when it comes to people with mental health issues, additions and the like. I could have used a Caleb in college which would have prevented me from wasting money on stupid shit. Then again, he does follow ups and a lot of times, it looks as if people haven’t learned a damn thing.
