I’ve recently learned about The IndieWeb. Through principles like publish on your own site, syndicate everywhere (POSSE), eating what you cook, and other IndieWeb principles

, you can control how your content is created and shared as opposed to offering it up to the whims of whatever platform cooks up through algorithms or otherwise.

It’s also fun as you can build your tools, improve other tools and learn from each other. Interestingly enough, I got the idea to summarize bookmarks from Ana!
