Jared is worn down by the job application process. Given the cycles of tech discussions, interviews are back on the chopping block. Nobody likes it since hiring managers feel bad for being so distrusting and interviewees are annoyed with them.

I asked Jared for his thoughts on the recent research on tech interviews and he said it’s in line with hiring managers. Also spending time developing skills and algorithms helped although the skills is what really matters at the job.
