I’m of the opinion that there isn’t an effective way to hire people in tech because all the methods are flawed in some way (too big of a commitment, unrealistic, biased, hard, easy, etc.). This research coming out of NC State in collaboration with Microsoft finds that tech interviews assess performance rather than tech skills.
