This Site is Live Once Again

Published:

I’ve made my personal website yet again. I’m hoping that I’ll make my site incrementally this time rather than hope it’ll all be made straight away.

I decided to go with Cloudflare Pages instead of Netlify this time around because of the unlimited bandwith, though it’s not like I’ve run into any bandwidth limitations. Though it took some time to get online, it seems to be much faster than before. I plan on using Cloudflare Workers for some functionality once I get around to it.

I started this site by writing a post about Shoouqs—a random project I made instead of making this site. It had a couple of images and instead of using my enhanced image render hook, I just settled with Hugo’s built-in one for now. I also added the project itself (the single HTML file) to this site instead of figuring out how to do it. There’s also a JSON Feed [JSON, Obviously] to syndicate content since it was faster than setting up a proper RSS or Atom feed.

With a bit of ugly styling and some drag and drop, I finally got my site online after a little waiting. There are so many other things I could work on like search, SEO and the like but I hope to get those incrementally. I hope you’ll stick around and watch this site become something to behold.
