A humble look into why some CSS quirks came about. That could be because:
- they were necessary at the time or
- they had insufficient review.
It’s amazing how powerful it’s gotten over the years and I look forward to understanding it better. The big thing is colors, which started out with unintuitive hex and rgb and is now getting better ones like LCH.
