Synecdoche and Metonym Are My Favorite Words

I love the words synecdoche and metonym for some reason. Metonyms words are words which refer to something related to it. Synecdoches are a type of metonym where the word is a part that represents the whole. For instance, people say wheels (which are part of a car) to mean a car.

I don’t know why I find these words cool, but they are. I might elaborate on this concept at some point.
