What’s Next For Web Monetization?

I left an issue noting that Coil is dead and Coil’s founded responed with ways in which Coil’s mission will carry on beyond Coil itself such that other providers can work.

Together, the net result should be that Web Monetization is no longer this thing that only works with Coil (which was never the intent) and both WM and Interledger will be much more accessible for adoption and tinkering.

P.S. I forgot to thank Coil for giving me a penny, which other people seemed to have gotten as well.
